The 2015 World Rowing Tour on Lake Maggiore, from 12 to 20 September, has a new and prestigious partnership. Filippi Boats, joins forces with the FISA event, organised by the Canottieri Luino, to promote Rowing at an international level, also from a recreational and touristic point of view. Filippi will provide 12 Coastal Rowing boats (Quad with cox) for the 77 rowers who will be rowing 180km over seven days during the event. Rowing on Lake Maggiore will be challenging but, at the same time, enjoyable thanks to the high quality of the boats.
It is fitting that in Coastal Rowing, some of the latest developments have been made by the boat builders run today by David Filippi, thanks to high technology products such as carbon and titanium. All this, in order to find the best performance and optimum ergonomics. World leaders, Filippi boast an incredible collection of medals with 12 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze medals at last year’s World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.
“We are official partners in many events promoted by FISA to support Rowing internationally, not least of which the FISA Development Programm.” Explains David Filippi. “Therefore we are keen to support the organisation of the 2015 edition of the World Rowing Tour. The magnificent setting of Lake Maggiore is wonderful natural environment, which definitely adds to the spectacular event.” The value of the partnership “The athletes can rely on high quality Coastal Rowing boats, conceived and manufactured using experience and expertise matured over decades of activity in traditional Rowing at the highest level.” Concludes Filippi
“We are honoured to be able to rely on the support of this extraordinary company.” Affirms the president of the Canottieri Luino, Luigi Manzo, “Our organising team is working with enthusiasm for the World Rowing Tour and Filippi’s presence adds important values such as professionalism and guarantees high performance”.
